Auction sales of unlicensed movables are carried out by way of public oral auctions. Auctions are organized by regional offices of the Military Property Agency. Announcements of each auction are placed, depending on the value of the object to be auctioned, in daily national or local press appropriately to the place where an auction is organized, at least 14 days before the date of an auction.
Announcements are also placed on the Internet on the web page www.amw.com.pl, in the section "Movables" – "Auctions". Auctions may be attended by natural and legal persons, who deposited a bid security by the indicated time limit, at the indicated place and in a proper manner.
With respect to purchasing waste materials the buyers are additionally required to provide necessary permits and declarations pursuant to the Act on Waste of 27 April 2001 (Journal of Laws of 2010 No. 185, item 1243 as amended) and the Environment Protection Act (Journal of Laws of 2008 No. 25, item 150), as well as applicable ministerial regulations.
Purchased movables are to be collected by the time limit each time specified by auction organizer, having first made full payment of the final price plus VAT in the amount statutorily set for a given type of item.
